It all started in 2017 when Lydia Bagi, the founder and designer of TouchGlass Studio, had asked to create the glass door panels of the living room and kitchen for her parents house. She learned the technique and started experimenting with the medium.
„I was in awe of the never-ending possibilities with stained glass. You have to consider the opacity, the colour, the texture, the thickness, the finish and the pattern when creating a piece. It’s complex and exciting and something I want to share with more and more people ever since.”
She started selling suncatchers first and slowly drifting towards lamps and other illuminated artworks. She using the traditional method of building the glass with a design that contradicts the codes of the classic Tiffany stained glass style. The merging of the contemporary and traditional, its designs immerse us in a vibrant and unique universe and inevitably make it the brand’s signature.
Today, TouchGlass Studio opts for a high-end production made in Budapest, made with quality and lead-free materials only.
